    1. Do not really understand what you are trying to say right here with your comment. It is a fact that a VPN might slow your Internet connection down, but the methods described here are working well, and will let you surf with nice speed, and enjoy HBO Now without error messages from all across the world!

  2. Got the error message as I tried to stream the new Game of Thrones season on HBO Now, but now with PureVPN I am able to stream HBO Now online (also during my summer holiday in Spain)! Thanks a lot!

    1. If you get this message when in the United States, it is probably because you are connecting to the Internet and using a VPN or a Proxy or some special DNS server, without actually knowing about it. The best might be to contact HBO Now and their customer service, or speak with the one in control of your local network, as they might have more insight on the subject. A good idea might also be checking your IP address: https://www.ipaddressguide.org/what-is/what-is-my-ip-address/
If the result you get is outside the United States, then that is a clear sign that you are somehow using a VPN, which might be a part of pure safety protocol.

  3. Apologies for the lack of IT understanding here, but I understand this solution would work for anyone trying to access HBO Now through a browser and stream their content. What about if you were to try to access it through my Apple TV using the HBO Now App? How would you be able to access the VPN on the Apple TV so that it would allow you to play HBO Now content?

    1. Hello,
with an Apple TV things work differently, and I am not entirely sure how it can be done. It will probably work if you use the SmartDNS services of Unlocator. They have a free seven day trial, so visit their website, sign up, and configure their SmartDNS servers on your Apple TV, and hopefully it will work!
